All up in your grill!

18 08 2008

Summer, to me, means fresh fruit, sunshine, a pool (if you can swing it), and grilling. Grilled food is so simple, yet so tasty! I have a grill pan to use on the stovetop year round, but it doesn’t compare to an outdoor gas or charcoal grill. Not even close.

On Saturday, with two packages of sausages and 8 hot dog buns in tow, I showed up to a grill-warming party at my friend JY’s house. (Don’t worry, I only ate one and a half sausages; the rest were for sharing.) JY and his housemates had just purchased a brand new grill and were eager to grill away. It was a typical, overcast Berkeley August afternoon and we were all in our best hooded sweatshirts, but the grilled meats and veggies brought out the best of summer.
