My friend LC has been faithfully reading this blog and wanted the glory that comes with internet fame.  So, he volunteered to cook me dinner in order to be featured on this blog.  Who am I to turn down a home-cooked meal?

We started with a shrimp and orzo salad.  It featured cucumbers and avocados in a Greek yogurt sauce.  Quite tasty, especially with a dash of lemon juice.

For the main course, LC seared tuna steaks marinated in curry (the recipe called for “Moroccan spices” but none could be found), and topped with a tomato, onion, shallot, and caper sauce.

LC was going to make molten chocolate cake (per my request) but we were running late so we had a simple orange champagne sorbet instead.

All in all, a good meal enjoyed with a dry white Chenin Blanc wine that I brought.  Thanks, LC!

(and if anyone else wants to cook me dinner, or guest blog, please let me know!)
