the culinary adventures of a self-described foodie

Exciting new developments here at willblog4food! I’ve formally entered a partnership with foodbuzz, a website that is dedicated to food blogs. What this means for you is that there will be an ad (very tastefully done, in my opinion) unobtrusively hanging out on the right side of the page. Full disclosure: I’m getting paid by CPM (clicks per milli), so you don’t need to click on any ads to support me/this blog.

Now, before you accuse me of selling out, let me just say that I have thought long and hard about this, and only considered foodbuzz after seeing that they feature relevant and quality ads. But that’s not all they do! foodbuzz also runs a food blogger community, which is like Facebook for foodies. My username is jen_hearts_noodles, just in case any of you join and want to friend me. I also signed up for the “Daily Buzz” which is a daily digest of great food photos and recipes delivered to my inbox. Basically, I’m doing this because I believe in the foodbuzz brand (cheesy but true!).

I promise that the content of this blog won’t change. If anything, maybe I can use the $20 I’ll make a year towards a nice dinner and blog about it. I do ask one favor though — if you have 5 minutes to spare, please click around the site, as I get credit every time an ad loads on your browser. This is especially key for you email subscribers — if ads don’t appear in your email, please click on title of the post, which will link you to the blog online.

Finally, I created a twitter account, so you can follow my eating, cooking, and blog posting. It’s at willblog4food. Cheers!

  1. Hey! I think this is GREAT news! Anything that gets your food blog more exposure is good for everyone- it’s entertaining and yummy information. Plus I love seeing your creativity- in science and in food. Congratulations! R&J
